Support to National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs)

In essence, all programmes and activities of ORADO work in tandem to support its sixteen member National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) in Pacific Island countries and territories.

However, the NADO Support Programme is a heavily internal-facing programme that works to provide services and maintain relationships. The work focuses on administrative support to NADOs, monitoring and evaluation needs, and periodic assessment of NADOs in order to determine needs which serve ORADO prioritisation of work programming.

The Programme monitors and reports on NADOs ability to meet World Anti-Doping Agency Code-compliant programmes and works closely with members to develop, implement and evaluate projects.

As such, the NADO Support Programme exists as a support mechanism, not only to NADOs, but internally to ORADO through the interconnected activities that measure the pulse of programmes and activities that take a connected team to deliver successfully.

Given the diversity of stakeholders and activities encompassed in the Programme, it assumes the lead role in member communications and information sharing - internal institutional communications.
